Finished 2nd at the Horned Frog Invitational with a season best vault of 15-1.00...3rd at the Mean Green Invitational (14-07.25) and was 8th at the John Jacobs Invitational (14-07.25).

Finished 7th at the Texas A&M Invitational with a season best vault of 15-01.50) finish of the season was 5th at the Leonard Hilton with a vault of 14-01.25)...also finished 10th at Razorback Invitational (14-9). 2008 Outdoor
Regional qualifier in the pole vault with a mark of 16-6.75 at Baylor height at the regional meet...finished eighth with a mark of 15-1 at the conference meet. 2008 Indoor: Competed in five meets...recorded a best vault of 15-3 at the conference meet where he finished in eighth...only time during the indoor season to clear 15 feet.

Competed in four meets... only height to clear was 14-01.25 at the North Texas Twilight April 14, 2007.

Competed in four meets... only height to clear was 13-11.25 at the Arkansas Invitational on Jan. 12, 2007.

Quarterbacked the Marshall High School football team that was the state runner-up in 2004 and 2005... earned all-district honors in football... in high school had a personal-best height of 14-feet, six-inches... academically, named Texas Scholar and Distinguished Globe Scholar.
