A former standout for the Mavericks, Isiah Clements is in his first season as a volunteer assistant with the UT Arlington track teams.

Clements was a two-time Southland Conference champion in the high jump, winning titles in 2009 and 2012. He reached the NCAA Championships in that event in 2011 and twice advanced to the NCAA Regionals (2011, 2012).

In addition, Clements was on a pair of SLC championship squads in the 4x400 meters, as his Mavericks posted victories in the 2009 indoor and outdoor seasons.

Clements' personal best leap of 2.16m in the high jump ranks among the top five marks in school history. He graduated in May of 2012 with a degree in sociology.
