• Qualified for the SLC Championships in the 3000s where he placed 17th (10:00.97).
• Turned in eighth place (9:30.70) laurels in the 3000s at the TCU Invite.
• Ran a 4:26.76 in the 1500m run for 11th place at the Northwestern State Invite.
Cross Country Highlights: 2011
• Was one of just two Mavericks to compete in all six events during the year.
• Finished 94th at the South Central Regional with a time of 34:25 in the 10K event.
• Placed 57th at the Southland Conference Championships with an 8K time of 27:52.
• Had a 24th-place showing at the UTA Season Opener (21:57).
2010
• Competed in three events on the year.
• Placed 68th at the Southland Conference Championships with a clocking of 28:50.
• Ran a 21:01 at the Midwestern State Invitational 6K.
2009
• Ran in all seven meets during the cross country season.
• Top finish came at the start of the season at the TCU Season Opener where he placed 15th (22:35).
• Placed 17th (27:57) at the Ken Garland Invitational 8K.
• Crossed the finish line in 67th place (28.04) at the Southland Conference Meet 8K.
HIGH SCHOOL
• Earned the Division 2A state title in cross country in 2008.
• Won back-to-back district championships in cross country in 2007 and 2008.
• Personal records include 4:29.08 in the 1600m, 10:01.73 in the 3200m, 15:59.87 in the 3-mile and 16:11.90 in the 5000m.
