Student-athletes were recognized for the accomplishments in the classroom and in the community.
HIGH SCHOOL
• A four-year varsity letterman in both cross country and track.
• Was a four-time regional qualifier in cross country (2008-11) and track (2009-12).
• Was the District 7-5A cross country champion in 2009 and won District 4-5A crown in 2010 and 2011.
• Named to the Nike South Nationals first-team all-region.
• Crowned champion in the 2011 district 4-5A 3200 meters and 1600 meters.
• Had personal-best times of :52 in the 400m, 4:18 in the 1600m and 14:38 in the 3-mile run.
PERSONAL
• Was an AP Scholar and a member of the Gifted/Talented program in high school.
• Was a three-year member of the Honor roll.
• Member of the Dallas Metroplex Striders.
