High School: District 31-4A champion in the 100-meter high hurdles with a time of 14.20... owns the school record in the pole vault (15-6) and placed second in the district in the pole vault (15-3) and qualified for regionals in the 110-meter hurdles, long jump, pole vault and as the anchor leg in the 4x100-meter relay... was a member of the school-record 4x100-meter relay (42.5) and the 4x200-meter relay (1:28.3)... personal bests include 6-0 in the high jump and 13.9 in the 110-meter hurdles... named the track team "MVP" after senior year... won district and Region IV setting new diving records and placed fourth at the UIL State Swimming and Diving Championships as a junior... was the Class 4A boys' top seed in the one-meter diving competition as a sophomore... shared district title in the pole vault as a junior with 14-6 effort... was named the 2004 Corpus Christi Caller-Times All-Metro Football Team second-team kicker... kicked a South Texas-record 52-yard field goal in a 44-7 win over Kingsville during the 2004 season.
