SAN ANGELO, Tx. - UTA's Jared Cloud began his spring season with a seventh place finish at the Angelo State Spring Multi Event decathlon.

Cloud finished the meet with 5,828 points. Ryan McWilliams of Angelo State won the meet with a total of 7,143 points.

Cloud's best finish was fourth in the javelin with a mark of 139-06 (42.51m).

Meanwhile at the first day of the Horned Frog Invitational, freshman David Christopherson finished fourth in the discus with a mark of 37.30 meters.
