ARLINGTON, Texas -- The UT Arlington Mavericks covered the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex on Saturday, helping at three huge philanthropic events in the community. UTA track and field student-athletes spent time at the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Dallas, the Walk Now for Autism Speaks in Grand Prairie and the JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes in Fort Worth.
"Our student-athletes really had a great time in the community today," assistant coach Jordan Durham said. "We are so fortunate to be able to partner with such great organizations and give back to a community that supports us so well."
