2009 Cross Country
Competed in seven cross country meets... recorded two-11th place finishes, the first at the Ken Garland Invitational 8K (27.23) and the second at the Texas A&M-CC Islander Splash 8K (26.54)... crossed the finish line in 30th place at the Southland Conference Meet 8K (25.51).

2010 Indoor
Competed in the 3000m at three different meets... top finish of eighth place (9:12.06) at the Varsity Apartments Shocker... registered a ninth place finish (9:22.15) at the Sooner Indoor Open.

2010 Outdoor
Ran in the 3000m and 5000m run... placed fourth (9:58.30) in the 3000m at the North Texas Classic... took home seventh place laurels (9:24.30) in the 3000m run at the TCU Invite... placed fifth (16:06.03) in the 5000m run at the Northwestern State Invite... ran 15:49.21 in the 5000m run at the North Texas Classic.

2008 Outdoor
Turned in a season-best time of 4:09.58 in the 1,500 meters at the UTA Invitational on May 3...also ran the 5,000 meters and clocked 15:19.96 at Baylor...season-best time of 9:04.42 in the 3,000 meters came at the Oklahoma Invitational on April 12 and was third-best on the team.

2008 Indoor
Competed in the 3,000 meters and turned in a season-best time of 9:00.91 at the SLC Indoor Championships.

2007 Cross Country
Had two finishes in the Top 30 during his freshman season, including a 27th-place finish (26:34, 8K) at the SLC Championships...finished 12th in the season-opening UT Arlington Invitational.

High School
Finished 28th at the Region I Cross Country Championship as a senior, 82nd at regionals as a junior with a time of 17:38.80 in Lubbock and 105th as a freshman... finished 102nd with a 16:20 at the Footlocker South Meet in Charlotte, N.C... personal-best times are: 4.33 in the 1,600-meters, 9:44 in the 3,200 meters, 2:05 in the 800 meters, 16:07 in the 5K and 15:14 in the three-mile run.

Born April 6, 1989 in Wisconsin, is the son of Perry and Kathy Askins... computer engineering major.
