STILLWATER, Okla. - After a week off, the UT Arlington men's and women's cross country teams will return to competition at the OSU Cowboys Jamboree here.

"This will give us the opportunity to see what top-20 competition is like," Head Cross Country Coach John Sauerhage said during Monday's Maverick Club luncheon at Spring Creek Barbeque in Arlington. "I think we are capable of finishing in the top half of the field.

"We have had a good two weeks of training and it is time for us to go back out and compete."

Among the team's scheduled to participate in the Jamboree are Central Missouri State, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, Wichita State and UT Arlington in the university women's division. The men's race includes teams from Arkansas, Kansas State, Missouri Southern, Oklahoma State, Tulsa and UT Arlington.
