ARLINGTON, Texas – The UT Arlington Athletics Hall of Honor induction ceremony is Friday, Jan. 18 at the Arlington Hilton Grand Ballroom. The 2013 Hall of Honor inductees are Pete Carlon, Clay Gould, Mishael Berger, and the 1990 and 1992 Southland Conference Baseball Championship teams.
"This ceremony is an opportunity for us to celebrate some of the people who have had a great impact on UT Arlington Athletics," UT Arlington athletics director Jim Baker said.
"This upcoming ceremony we honor and celebrate Pete Carlon, a man many of you know as he led our Athletic Department as Director of Athletics for 16 years. We also honor and celebrate Clay Gould, who acted as UT Arlington’s head baseball coach for two seasons. Current staff member and former All-American, Mishael Berger, is also a part of the 2013 induction class, and we finish out with our 1990 and 1992 Southland Conference Baseball Championship teams."
The evening begins with a cocktail reception at 6:30 p.m., followed by a buffet dinner and the induction ceremony. Individual tickets are $50 and a table of 10 is $500. RVSP and payment is due by Jan. 11.
