Rachel Brackett

Rachel Brackett was named the director of operations with the UT Arlington women's basketball program in 2008-09.

Brackett graduated from Hardin-Simmons in May of 2008 with a major in communication with an emphasis on Public Relations and Advertising and earned her masters degree in communication from UT Arlington in 2010.

While in undergrad, Brackett led the Hardin-Simmons Cowgirls to a 21-6 overall record, including a 16-4 mark in league play and was a Second Team All-Conference recipient in her senior campaign. Brackett comes to the Mavericks program after finishing her career at Hardin-Simmons with a 88-22 record. She was a Academic All-ASC award winner as a sophomore. While at Hardin-Simmons, Brackett was a member of the Media Production Staff where she was responsible for video editing, creating commercials, involved in video shoots, and was also an interracial part of all television productions for the university. Brackett is responsible for the daily operations of the women's basketball office, which includes grading film, cutting videos, team travel, and statistics.
