Buxkemper appeared in one game during the 2007-08 campaign... played three minutes on the road against Northern Arizona (Nov. 11).
2006-07 [Sophomore Season]
Suffered an ankle injury during pre-season and played her first game against Mississippi in New Orleans on Dec. 29... went on to play in 15 games averaging 10.3 minutes per game... scored a season-high seven-points in 22 minutes of action against Sam Houston State (Feb. 22)... pulled in three rebounds at Stephen F. Austin (Feb. 24)... played 10 minutes and scored two-points in the Mavs' NCAA first-round game against Texas A&M (Mar. 17).
2005-06 [Freshman Season]
Slowed with a wrist injury during a majority of the season... nevertheless, played in 22 games and averaged 22 minutes per game... only start of season was Nov. 20 versus LaSalle... scored season-high nine points in win over Northwestern State Feb. 9.
Ballinger High School
Four-year starter and letterwinner for the Lady Cats... helped lead her team to an overall record of 109-27 and a 38-3 mark in district play... helped lead team to its first four regional tournament appearances and four district championships... left BHS as the all-time leader in scoring (1,477 points), three-point field goals (214), rebounds (743), assists (338) and steals (441)... also holds single-season record in scoring (448), three-point field goals (65), rebounds (229), assists (144) and steals (141)... earned District 3-2A MVP laurels as a senior after garnering District 6-3A MVP honors as a junior... named to the all-state team by the TABC and TGCA her final three seasons... named to the Texas Basketball Magazine preseason all-state team as a junior and senior... named the All-Big Country Player of the Year by the Abilene Reporter News and All-West Texas "Super" Team Player of the Year by the San Angelo Standard Times as a senior... set the single-game scoring record by pouring in 30 points, including eight three-pointers... also set the single-game record with 12 assists... earned District 3-5A Newcomer of the Year honors as a freshman... four-year member of the cross country team... state qualifier in cross country as a sophomore... academic all-state and all-district in basketball and cross country... member of the BHS Student Council and National Honor Society.
