  • UTA topped Louisiana 63-61 on Thursday night. UTA improved to 9-9 and 3-4 in the Sun Belt, while Louisiana went to 9-9 and 4-2.
  • Crystal Allen hit UTA's final five points of the game, including the game-winning free throws with four seconds on the clock.

  • Rebekah VanDijk finish with 10 points, while Daiane Machado had a career-high 11 rebounds and was one point shy of her first-career double-double.
  • Ty'reonne Doucet led Louisiana with 17 points.
  • Louisiana leads the all-time series 13-8 and the series is 5-4 in favor of the Lady Mavs at College Park Center. UTA has won the last three meetings.
  • UTA finishes a quick two-game homestand when it hosts ULM on Saturday at 2 p.m. on ESPN3. UTA will travel to Georgia State and Georgia Southern beginning on Thursday.
