  • UTA topped Georgia State 81-76 in overtime on Thursday night at GSU Sports Arena.

  • Laurynn McGowen had a career-high 20 points, hitting six free throws. 
  • Shelby Richards finished with 10 points. 
  • UTA's 26 first-quarter points are tied for second most for UTA in a quarter this season and most in the opening period.
