  • Texas State topped UT Arlington 75-58 on Saturday to end the regular season.
  • UTA finished the regular season 18-10 overall and 12-6 in the league. Texas State was 21-8 and 14-5. 
  • With Saturday’s loss, UTA will be the third seed in next week’s Sun Belt Championship Tournament in New Orleans. UTA will play at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday against the winner of Tuesday night’s contest between the No. 11 and 6 seeds. UTA defeated Troy to clinch the tiebreak between the two teams. 
  • The official Sun Belt Championship bracket will be released on Sunday afternoon, with play on the women’s side opening on Tuesday morning at Lakefront Arena.
  • UTA used the starting lineup of Rebekah VanDijk, Lauren Billie, Laurynn McGowen, Shelby Richards and Crystal Allen for the seventh time this season.
  • Daiane Machado was UTA’s first sub at 7:55, coming in for Lauren Billie.
  • Crystal Allen led UTA with 25 points, hitting 8-of-13 shots and three from deep.
  • The nation's 3-point percentage leader, Texas State's Toshua Leavitt, knocked down 6-of-9 attempts. 
  • Rebekah VanDijk became just the seventh player in Sun Belt history to record 1,100 rebounds or more. VanDijk recorded double digits for the 77th time in her career, finishing with 11. 
  • UTA is 5-9 in games played on the road this season and 4-5 in Sun Belt play.
  • Texas State leads the all-time series 39-31. UTA is 14-18 playing at Texas State.
  • UTA has won four of the last six matchups, including Saturday as the teams split the season series.
