  • UT Arlington improved to 3-0 for the second consecutive season, closing a stretch of three games in five days. UTA is at home against SMU on Sunday at 2 p.m.
  • UTSA fell to 1-2 for the season, both losses against Division I opponents.
  • UTA improved to 33-28 in the all-time series and 70-84 against teams from Conference USA. The win also pushes the streak to three against UTSA, tying the best streak since 2000 against the club.
  • Four scored in double figures, led by Crystal Allen. Allen finished with 21 points, two days after a career-high 22 on Monday.
  • Rebekah VanDijk fell a rebound short of a double-double for the second time this season. The 14 points marked her third career double-digit game against UTSA.
  • Daiane Machado check into the game with 3:48 mark of the first quarter for her first action in a UTA uniform. The junior transferred from New Mexico Junior College.
  • Cierra Johnson left the game with less than two minutes in the first quarter with an injury, she did not return to the game. Johnson finished with 11 points, surpassing the 900-point mark.
