ARLINGTON, Texas - UT Arlington hosts Western Athletic Conference opponent Utah State University Thursday at 7 p.m. at College Park Center.
The Mavericks are 3-14 overall and 1-6 in league play. The team is coming of its sixth-straight loss after losing at Idaho 70-52.
This is the first meeting with USU as the Mavericks and the Aggies have never met. This is also the Aggies last season in the WAC as the school will compete in the Mountain West next season.
The Utah State Aggies are coming off a successful weekend of play after defeating New Mexico State (65-63) and Denver (85-69) at home. With the two victories the Aggies improved to 8-10 overall and 5-2 in the WAC with both loses coming on the road.
USU ranks eighth nationally in steals averaging 13.2 per game. Devyn Christensen leads her team averaging 20.4 points per game and has had 10 games with 20 points or more on the season.
