ARLINGTON, Texas - The UT Arlington women's basketball team will conclude the 2012-13 regular season Saturday, March 9 as they host New Mexico State at 6 p.m. at College Park Center.
The Mavericks are 7-21 overall and 4-13 in the Western Athletic Conference. The team is 3-3 since Karen Blair has been named interim head coach.
The match-up will mark the sixth matchup between the two schools. UT Arlington defeated NMSU to open WAC play earlier this season.
The Aggies are 6-11 in league play and 13-15 overall. Stefanie Gilbreath leads her team averaging 17.1 points per game with Danesia Williamson picking up 12.4 points per contest.
Laila Suleiman leads the team averaging 8.8 points per game throughout the season and 9.9 in conference play. Desherra Nwanguma is averaging 10.5 points per WAC contest and 8.4 throughout the season while Aron Garcia is leading the team with 7.5 rebounds per game, which ranks her ninth in the WAC.
