GERLICH QUOTABLE: "Really we've been trying to work on our stuff. Offensively, trying to execute better and take care of the basketball. Defensively we've put them in a zone a little bit more and put them in transition defense. It's going to be a battle."
LINEUP CHANGE: Coach Gerlich has used three lineups in eight games so far this season. Seniors Laila Suleiman and Desherra Nwanguma, as well as junior transfer Tahlia Pope, have remained starters in all eight contests. Freshman Allea Harris and Allyson Te'o have made their way into the starting five.
MAVERICKS IN 2013-14: UT Arlington returns eight letterwinners and two starters from last year. The Mavericks welcome two freshmen as well as four transfers (one sophomore and three juniors) for the 2013-14 season.
