Prior to UTA
Joins the Mavericks after leading Bryan High School to their first 16-5A state championship in 2002...Logged a .356 batting average with 31 RBI en route to earning her second consecutive "Big Stick Award" for extra base hits in 2002... Also set school records with a .571 slugging percentage, eight doubles, six triples and four home runs as a senior...A two-time first team All-District performer at BHS...Named to the All-Brazos Valley team in 2001 and 2002... Garnered All-State honors in 2001 and 2002...Was selected to the All-Greater Houston and All-Region NFCA second team as a left fielder in 2002...Also named to the Collin Street Bakery/Texas Sports Witers Association All-State softball team as a senior...Honoree in Who's Who Among American High School Students in 2001 and 2002...Also nominated to be a scholar at the Global Young Leaders Conference in 2001.
