ARLINGTON, Texas - UT Arlington fell to Texas A&M Corpus Christi 1-0 in their first conference game of the 2012 season.
Despite pitcher Teri Lyles allowing only four this and one run, the Mavericks struggled at the plate finishing the game with just two hits.
Corpus Christi scored after a double from senior Hannah Schwarz drove in the only run of the game.
The Mavericks will take the field again Saturday at 2 p.m. as they look to redeem themselves against the Islanders at Allan Saxe Field.
