SAN ANTONIO, Texass - UT Arlington fell 2-1 in San Antonio against the Roadrunners in 10 innings Saturday afternoon.
UT San Antonio scored the first run of the game in the bottom of the second inning when Beeson hit a triple and drove in a run.
The Mavericks tied it up when senior Erica LeFlore homered, bringing the score to a 1-1 tie.
“This was probably Callie’s best game thus far this season,” UT Arlington acting head coach Angela Perry said. “Erica stepped up big with her home run that tied the game.
“We left a lot of runner on base and we needed to push them across the bases earlier in the game.”
Sophomore Callie Collins completed nine innings, striking out four batters and walking one. Collins fell to 6-11 on the season
