HUNTSVILLE, Texas -UT Arlington fell 1-0 in eight innings to Sam Houston to be eliminated from the SLC Tournament. The Mavs end the season with a 36-16 record overall and 19-5 record in league action.

Senior first basemane Dee Jay Nelson and junior right fielder Kristin Moore earned all-tounrament honors for their performance at the 2007 SLC Tournament.

The Bearkats lone hit of the game came in the eighth inning on a game-winning solo home run over the left field fence from Lauren Burns.

Freshman Cara Hulme went seven innings with out giving up a hit while Sam Houston's Brandi Crnkovic gave up three hits in eight innings on the mound.
