ARLINGTON, Texas - UT Arlington softball will closeout the regular season with its eighth SLC series of the season, against Nicholls State. The Mavs (34-14, 19-5) need just one win over the Colonels (26-26, 15-11) to clinch their third regular season title and second No. 1 seeding for the SLC tournament.
The series will kick-off with the first game of a double header, which was originally scheduled to start at 1 p.m. on Saturday has been pushed back to 2 p.m., due to finals. In between games of the double header, the Mavs will honor three of its senior's; third baseman Courtney Anderson, catcher Courtni Anderson and first baseman Dee Jay Nelson.
