ARLINGTON, Texas – College Sports Madness announced Teri Lyles as a first-team All-WAC performer, with Nina Villanueva earning second-team honors.

Lyles, the lone senior pitcher for UT Arlington, posted a season ERA of 1.58, which topped the Western Athletic Conference. She was also named WAC Pitcher of the Week three times throughout the course of the season.

Villanueva, the San Diego, Calif., native posted a .438 batting average through WAC games, with a .531 slugging percentage. The sophomore transfer picked up the first home run of her career in a 2-1 victory over Metroplex rival North Texas.
