Arlington, Texas - Head softball coach Debbie Hedrick will have a chance to see her squad in action when they open their fall season with four scrimmages in the month of October.

The first match is set for Saturday, October 4 at the University of North Texas Tourney in McKinney, Texas with game times slated for 4 and 6 p.m., followed by a match-up at home versus North Central Texas C.C. at 2 and 4 p.m.

The Mavericks will travel to Marshall, Texas to take on East Texas Baptist University at 2 and 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 11, followed by their final match at home versus McLennan J.C. at 3 and 5 p.m.

UT Arlington opens the spring season with eight returning letterman and seven newcomers.
