2008-09 [Freshman Season]
Matovicova recorded 29 singles and doubles victories in her first season... earned All-SLC first team honors at the No. 6 singles position... collected All-SLC second team accolades at the No. 2 doubles position with teammate Maria Martinez-Romer... The pair posted a 13-5 record including ending the season winning nine of their final 10 matches... named SLC Player of the Week on one occasion... went undefeated with an 11-0 record in conference action... went 16-1 towards the end of the season... went 16-2 overall playing in the No. 4,5 and 6 flights... went undefeated in both singles and doubles in the conference tournament... named to the Capital One Bank/SLC Commissioner's Honor Roll... took win over No. 46 Yale at No. 6 singles.

Ranked one of the top-10 juniors in Slovakia... competed in several ITF tournaments.
