WT: Mavs fall 4-2 to UC Santa Barbra

The Mavericks fall to 1-4 on the season.

ARLINGTON, Texas- The UT Arlington women fell 5-2 to UC Santa Barbra Sunday at the UTA Tennis Center.

The Mavericks are now 1-4 on the season after the defeat. UCSB improves to an overall 8-3 record on the season.

The Women Gauchos jumped out early picking up the doubles point send the Mavs into singles down 1-0.

Giada D’Ortona and Elizabeth Thoms both defeated their singles opponent at the No. 3 and No. 5 position respectively, but it wasn’t enough for UTA.
