ARLINGTON, Texas - The UT Arlington women's tennis fell 4-1 to the Wichita State Shockers Thursday, March 7 at the UTA Tennis Center.
The Mavericks fell behind early when Wichita State won the doubles points at the No. 1 and No. 2 doubles positions.
Elizabeth Thoms defeated Veronika Blaskova 6-3, 6-3 at the No. 5 singles position. The Mavericks drop to 1-6 on the season after the loss.
UTA will be back on the courts Monday, March 18 at 1 p.m. to take on Columbia at the UTA Tennis Center.
