ARLINGTON, Texas - UT Arlington women's tennis swept Drury University 7-0 on Tuesday in a non-conference match. With the win UTA improves to 6-2 overall on the season.

The Mavs started the match a little slow but still took all three of the doubles matches for the 1-0 lead.

After losing her last two singles matches Monika Peciulionyte won 6-4 6-2 over Drury's Alejandra Miranda-Sanchez as the No. 1 single.

Simri van Rooyen won in the No. 3 singles slot in straight sets to secure the win for UTA with the fourth point of the match.

UTA will return to the courts as they play host to Southland Conference foe UT San Antonio on Saturday at 1 p.m.
