TULSA, Oklahoma— The UT Arlington women’s tennis feel 7-0 to the No. 26 Tulsa Golden Hurricanes.
The Mavericks drop to 6-13 overall, but remain at 6-3 in the Western Athletic Conference while the Golden Hurricanes improve to 16-5.
Tulsa took an early lead winning all three doubles matches, 8-0, 8-3, 8-2, to head into singles play with a 1-0 lead over the Mavericks.
The Golden Hurricanes continued their momentum sweeping the Mavs in singles competition. Sophomore Verena Scott was the only Maverick to win a set as she competed at the No. 6 spot.
