PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. - Sophomore Klara Jagosova and freshman Monika Hadvigerova represented UT Arlington women's tennis at the Riviera/ITA All-American Championships this weekend.
Jagosova dropped her first set 3-6 before battling back 6-1, 6-4 for the win over Anete Badera from Pepperdine. In the round of 32, she fell in straight sets (6-1, 6-0) to Georgia Tech's Noelle Hickey.
Hadvigerova fell 6-1, 6-2 to Iowa's Jacquelin Lee who is ranked 108th in the nation by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA).
The duo, also teamed up in double competition where they lost 8-6 to Kanykey Koichumanova and Canna Furuta from Cal State Northridge.
The Mavs next tournament is set for Oct. 12-14 when they travel to Midland, Texas for the Midland Invitational.
