ARLINGTON, Texas – UT Arlington women's tennis hosts Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the UTA Tennis Center.
"We always have close matches against Corpus Christi and I don't expect this match to be any different," UT Arlington coach Diego Benitez said. "The team just wants to get out there and compete. We need to continue playing our game and apply what we are working on during practice."
The women are 3-2 overall and 3-1 at their home court. Their most recent match was a tough 4-3 loss to McNeese State.
The Islanders are 4-1 and are riding a three-game winning streak after a 4-3 loss to Southern Miss.
"It is going to be a battle and we are looking forward to it," Benitez said.
