Arlington, Texas - The UT Arlington women's tennis team secured two conference victories at the UTA Tennis Center against Southeastern Louisiana and Nicholls State. The Mavericks recorded a 6-1 win over the Lions Saturday and followed with a Sunday afternoon 5-2 victory against Nicholls State.

The wins improved the Mavericks to 2-3 overall and 2-0 in conference action.

UTA 6, Southeastern Louisiana 1
After recording all three sets in doubles action, the Mavericks continued their dominating ways into singles play, collecting five of the six singles matches. UT Arlington recording all the singles matches in two sets.

UT Arlington 5, Nicholls State 2
The Mavs showed no signs of fatigue Sunday afternoon against the Colonels, collecting the doubles point and four of six singles matches.

Monica Hadvigerova finished the weekend with a perfect 2-0 record in both singles and doubles competition.

UT Arlington continues conference action at UTSA on Saturday, March 6 at 11 a.m.
