ARLINGTON, Texas--The UT Arlington women's tennis team will host the No. 19 TCU Horned Frogs Wednesday, March 6 at the UTA Tennis Center at 3 p.m.
"We always look forward to facing TCU," UT Arlington coach Diego Benitez said." They are a good team and we've built a great rival with them. We have been working hard and it's going to be a good match."
The Mavericks have lost two matches in a row and a 1-4 overall this season.
TCU is 7-1 this season and its only loss came in early February when the Crimson Tide defeated the Frogs 4-1 in Fort Worth.
Last season the two cross-town rivals met at the Frog's home court and defeated the Mavericks in a 6-1 with Liucija Smaizyte winning her singles match at the No. 5 position.
First serve is set for 3 p.m. and free pizza will be available to fans.
