ARLINGTON, Texas--The UT Arlington women's tennis team hosts the Wichita State Shockers Thursday, March 7 at 2 p.m. at the UTA Tennis Center.

The Mavericks are 1-5 after falling 4-2 to No. 19 TCU Wednesday, March 6 in Arlington.

The Shockers are 4-6 overall and are coming off a 6-1 victory over Creighton earlier this week.

When the two teams met last season Wichita State defeated the Mavs in a close 4-3 battle. Verena Scott and Giada D'ortona won their singles competition last season and UTA is looking for them to win again.

First serve is set for 2 p.m.
