Arlington, Texas - The UT Arlington women’s tennis team heads to Boise, Idaho to take on Brigham Young Cougars and the Boise State Broncos.

The Mavericks will face off with the Cougars Friday at 1 p.m. and the Broncos Sunday at 10 a.m. at the Appleton Tennis Center. 

"We are looking forward to competing against these two very good teams," UT Arlington head coach Diego Benitez said. "Our girls came up from great wins on the road last weekend and we hope to continue playing good tennis."

Boise State will be a conference oppenent next year when UTA moves into the WAC.

"Boise State will be a conference rival so it couls be a good match on Sunday" Benitez said.

The tennis team is coming off their fourth conference win of the season after defeating the Lamar Cardinals 5-2.

BYU is 3-7 so far on the season, while Boise State is 5-3. The Mavericks hope to finish the weekend with two more victories.
