Twenty-ninth-ranked TCU ran its win streak to 12 matrches with a 5-0 win over Texas-Arlington in women's tennis action at the UTA Tennis Center Wednesday.

UTA women's tennis team had an eight-match win streak snapped and will face 42nd-ranked SMU on Friday.

TCU won the doubles point after sweeping all three matches. Saber Pierce and Ana Cerwik def. Marketz Cizova and Daniela Novakova 8-4 at the No. 1 spot. Karla Macinas and Paty Aburto won at No. 2 and Paige Brown and Gloriann Lopez won at No. 3 singles.

In singles, 48th-ranked Paty Aburto defeated Monika Peciulionyte, 6-3, 6-1 at No. 1 singles.
