SAN ANTONIO, Texas - - A slow and steady rain throughout the day Sunday has prompted officials to postpone the Southland Conference Women's Tennis Championship.
The championship between No. 3-seed UT Arlington and top-seed Southeastern Louisiana will resume Monday at 10 a.m.
Officials made the final decision after a six-hour delay. Play had resumed at 6p.m. on Sunday, but rains returned 10 minutes later forcing the championship to be postponed.
The winner of the match will earned the league's automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament.
