ARLINGTON, Texas - The UT Arlington women's tennis team heads to New York this weekend for the 2013 USTA BJK NTC Women's College Invitational at Flushing Meadows.
The Mavericks will send seven members of the squad to the tournament held at Flushing Meadows, home of the U.S. Open.
"It's going to be a very good field and a good venue," UT Arlington coach Diego Benitez said. "We don't want to get distracted and take care of business. Our girls are very excited and are looking forward to the trip. They have been practicing very well and have narrowed a lot of good things in doubles."
For updated information on UTA's progress through the field of play in New York, the Tournament Home will have scores and draws available throughout the weekend. Follow @UTAMavs on twitter for updated information and releases throughout play.
