2006 Outdoor: Scored points in all six meets she competed in during outdoor season... season-best jump was 5-05 (1.65m) she cleared four times during the season, including the SLC Championships for eighth place... named to the CapitalOne/Southland Conference Commissioner's Spring Academic Honor Roll. 2006 Indoor: Top higher jumper during indoor season... cleared season-best 5-06 (1.68m) for third place at the Texas Tech Indoor on Jan. 21... cleared 5-02.25 at the SLC Championships... took third at the indoor opener -- the Leonard Hilton Memorial Invitational -- on Jan. 14. High School: Ranked ninth in the state in the high jump with a height of 5-8 1/2 according to she is a three-time Region IV Champion in the high jump and placed in the top four in the high jump in the Class 4A UIL State Track Meet... as a senior, Bennett claimed second in the Class 4A competition with a leap of 5-07... as a junior, was all-district in basketball, Region IV Champion and fourth place at the UIL State Track Meet in the high jump... the 6-foot-2 athlete earned first-team all-district honors in volleyball as a junior and senior and will walk-on to the UTA volleyball team... a member of 4-H, Texas Scholars, National Honor Society, a Bluebonnet Drama Club officer and the Latin Club.
