JASMINE WALLS AND CORDERO GRAY ADVANCE TO THE SEMI-FINALS OF THE 200 METERS

Fayetteville, Arkansas - Junior Jasmine Walls and sophomore Cordero Gray advanced to the semi-finals of the 200 meter dash Thursday night at the second day of the 2009 NCAA Track and Field Championships.

Walls ran a 23.61, one of her fastest times of the season, and qualified 12th for the semi-final run. In the semis, she ran a swift 23.33 and finished in 11th place three places from becoming an All-American.

Gray, who competed in the men's 100 meters and 4X100 relay on Wednesday, finished 16th in the men's 200 meter semi-finals with a time of 21.17.
