Appeared in 20 matches and 45 games on the season... earned the start against Toledo and St. Francis (NY)... averaged 1.11 kills and 0.71 blocks a game... recorded two kills and a career-best five blocks in her first career start against Toledo... registered six kills on 10 swings in a victory over Duquesne... delivered four kills and four blocks in a road victory over Louisiana Tech... posted a career day against St. Francis (NY) as she delivered nine kills and served up five aces in three games... came off the bench for six kills and three blocks against Lamar... added four kills and three blocks at Texas State... delivered four kills against Stephen F. Came to UTA with impressive credentials from Klein Oak High School... named to the Texas Girls Coaches Association All-State Team, the Texas Sportswriters Association All-State Honorable Mention team, the Houston Chronicle All-Area second team and First-Team All-District 18-4A her senior season... participated in the TGCA All-Star Game last summer... named to the Houston Chronicle's "Player to Watch" list prior to the 2004 season... named to the USVA Junior Olympics All-Tournament Team... named all-District 15-5A first team and the outstanding blocker of the district as a junior in 2003...named second-team all-District 15-5A and the Klein Oak "Most Improved Player" in 2002...member of the National Honor Society... ranked in the Top-10 percent of her graduating class, member of Spanish National Honor Society.

Daughter of Mark and Maggie Schwartz... born Oct. 5, 1986...a biology major at UTA.
