ARLINGTON, Texas - The UT Arlington volleyball program will begin its spring schedule on Saturday, March 28, with four scrimmages against Texas State, Baylor, UTSA and Blinn College in San Marcos. Texas State is hosting this weekend's scrimmages that are scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. at Strahan Coliseum.

The Mavericks have also scheduled spring scrimmages at SMU on Saturday, April 18, and at TCU on Saturday, April 25.

UT Arlington will return nine players for the upcoming fall season, and has already inked two incoming freshmen student-athletes to National Letters of Intent for the 2009 season.
