ARLINGTON, Texas - The UT Arlington volleyball team will continue their successful spring season this weekend in Waco, Texas.
The Mavericks will compete in a four-team tournament hosted by Baylor Saturday, April 13 at the Ferrell Center. UTA will face a familiar foe in Texas State at 10 a.m. followed by a match against the Bears at 11 a.m. before the Mavs finish off the day against Abilene Christian at 2 p.m.
This will mark the third straight weekend of competion in the spring season for the Mavericks. UT Arlington hosted a nine-team tournament April 6 and saw a lot of success and growth. Charmaine Whitmore, Taylor Gross and Shelby Dickson led the Mavs with their outstanding play.
