Arlington, Texas - The UT Arlington Athletic Department enters into a new era on Friday, Sept. 27 when its volleyball team plays its first Sun Belt Conference match when the Mavericks host Louisiana-Monroe at 7 p.m.
To help celebrate the Mavericks first game in their new conference, the game will also be UT Arlington Faculty/Staff Appreciation Night and also Military Appreciation Night. UTA faculty and staff and any military personnel can receive up to six free tickets to the game by showing their UTA or military ID at the College Park Center Box Office that evening. It will also be $1 Hot Dog night at the game.
“We hope that many of our faculty and staff and military from around the area will be able to join us for some volleyball in the College Park Center next Friday night,” Jim Baker, Director of Intercollegiate Athletics said. “We appreciate all they are doing for our university and most importantly in the lives of our students and, of course, what are military personnel does here and around the world.”
This offer is good at the box office on game night only.
