ARLINGTON - UT Arlington volleyball hits the road again for a pair of SLC match ups this weekend. The Mavs will face-off with McNeese State on Friday at 7 p.m. before heading to Beaumont for a showdown with the unbeaten Lamar Cardinals at 3 p.m. on Saturday.

Junior outside hitter, Alyson Jones leads the Cowgirls with 3.21 kills a game, while middle blocker Jennifer Cook leads the team with a .277 hitting percentage.
Linsay Petzold has 75 total blocks on the season including 12 solo blocks for 1.04 blocks a game.
This will be the 42nd meeting between the Mavericks and Cowgirls with UTA holding a 28-13 advantage in the series.
The Cardinals (16-7, 7-0) remain one of two teams in the SLC who have not lost a conference match and are atop the East Division while SFA sits on top of the West Division.
Lamar is currently on a 12-match winning streak dating back to Sept. 8 when they won 3-1 over Denver.
The Cardinals are led by middle blocker Molli Abel with 3.25 kills and 1.18 blocks a game. Abel leads the conference with a .379 hitting percentage.
Andrea Hamilton, a defensive specialist, leads Lamar with 415 digs on the season averaging 4.94 a game.
UTA holds a 48-22-2 lead in the series with Lamar heading into the teams 73rd meeting.
