ARLINGTON, Texas – Dig Pink continues throughout the month of October to raise money for the fight against breast cancer.
The Maverick volleyball program set a goal to raise $3,000 for the cause and hopes to reach their goal in the final week.
"It's such a special cause to strive to help wipe out breast cancer," UT Arlington coach Diane Seymour said. "I think that it's an important cause for female athletes as well. We have some players who have had their lives touched in some way by the cancer."
Side-out.org allows you to donate a predetermined amount or choose your own.
