ARLINGTON, Texas – The Mavericks will face Utah State on the road on Thursday, Oct. 25 at 8:00 p.m.

UT Arlington (8-14, 4-6 WAC) is 4-7 all-time against the Aggies (15-7, 10-2 WAC), including a three set loss at home earlier this season, 14-25, 22-25, and 25-27. Amy Davault and Taylor Gross led the offense for the Mavs in that match with eight kills each. Valerie Stetzer had a team high nine digs while Welsh led with 29 assists in the loss. Ashley Bennett had four blocks, all assisted, during the match.

UT Arlington went 1-1 last week with a win over New Mexico State and a four set loss to Denver.  The Mavs were led to victory against the Aggies by Shelby Dickson who recorded her seventh double-double of the season in digs (17) and kills (11). Bennett contributed ten kills while Stetzer notched 22 digs in the match. Chelsea Rekieta had a team high 19 assists against New Mexico State.

Dickson earned another double-double in digs (18) and kills (11) in the loss to the Pioneers of Denver. Amanda Welsh tallied a team high 22 assists on the match.

For the remainder of the 2012 season, UT Arlington will be providing live video and radio streaming for all home matches.
