ARLINGTON, Texas -- Local standouts Kailyn Gilbreath and Cameryn Zahradnik have signed national letters of intent with UT Arlington volleyball, it was announced on Wednesday afternoon by head coach Diane Seymour.

"We are extremely excited about the addition of these two players," Seymour said. "First of all, they address the immediate needs of the two seniors we are graduating with (Kaitlyn) Granger at the outside position and Cassidy (Wheeler) at setter. Secondly, they both have the ability to step in and compete right away.

"Cameryn is a six-rotation outside hitter that is offensive in both the front court and from the back court, which can give us a different look than we have had in the past. Kailyn is a special player. She is as competitive as it gets and she has the skill set to help us at the setter position and as a right-side hitter position. She is lefty that moves the ball around the block very well.

"They are both winners. They have a winning mind-set and have been highly successful throughout their prep careers. We cannot wait to get them both in the gym to add to the returning players that we will have for 2017 and beyond."
